Superyacht goes up in flames in the Cyclades
A devastating incident unfolded in Greece as the luxurious 46 meter superyacht, Navis One, met its unfortunate demise due to a fierce fire. This stunning vessel, constructed in 2014, fell victim to a catastrophic blaze on the evening of October 9th while situated within the picturesque Cyclades island chain of Koufonisia. Tragically, the vessel ultimately sank on October 10th.

Navis One, an impressive superyacht fabricated from steel and aluminum, now rests approximately half a mile away from the bustling harbor of Ano Koufonisi. Eyewitnesses who were present at the scene described a distressing spectacle, with substantial wreckage floating in the waters surrounding the conflagration.
A witness shed light on the incident, recounting that the superyacht had made its arrival in the afternoon .
It was around sunset when the flames erupted, engulfing the vessel in a devastating inferno. The observer mentioned that the fire originated towards the rear of the yacht, and astonishingly, within a mere hour of its ignition, the top two levels of the vessel had succumbed to the relentless blaze.
Local media reports have disclosed that, at the time of the incident, Navis One was accommodating a total of 12 dedicated crew members and 10 passengers. Fortunately, amidst the chaos and destruction, there were no reports of injuries.
